Founded in 1884, Annie Wright School is an independent, college preparatory school for boys and girls in grades preschool through eight, and an all-girls international day and boarding school in grades nine through 12. The school emphasizes global education through small class sizes, rigorous academics, service learning, science, technology, foreign language, fine arts, athletics, and a rich variety of extracurricular activities and events – including an extensive summer day camp program and International Summer Institute program. Annie Wright is the only independent international boarding school in the Pacific Northwest. Unique offerings also include English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, individualized college guidance and counseling, a laptop program for students in grades six through 12, and an early childhood program serving students as young as age three.
